A coating is brilliant at some things and useless at others. Here’s the honest version before you spend a dollar.
What it is
- A hard, glassy layer bonded to your clear coat, far tougher than wax or sealant
- Hydrophobic: water beads and rolls off, taking loose dirt with it
- Easier washing for years, because grime can’t grip it
- UV and chemical resistance that helps slow fading, bird-dropping and sap etching
What it isn’t
- Not paint protection film (PPF). It won’t stop stone chips or deep scratches
- Not scratch-proof. It helps resist light wash marks, not keys or gravel
- Not maintenance-free. It still needs gentle, regular washing
- Not a swirl remover. That’s paint correction, which we do first

Why water beads
Slick is the point.
A coating fills the microscopic peaks and valleys in your clear coat with a hard, glassy layer. Water can’t grip it, so it pulls into tall beads and rolls away with the dirt.

Four stages, in order, on every ceramic job. Nothing gets skipped.
Stage 02
Decontaminate
Snow foam and a hand wash, then iron fallout and tar removal and a clay treatment for glass-smooth paint.
Stage 03
Correct
Machine polishing removes swirls, haze and light scratches to bring back clarity and depth.
Stage 04
Coat & cure
After a panel wipe, the coating goes on by hand, panel by panel, is levelled, then inspected under lights before it cures.

Keep it glossy for years
No washing for 7 days while it cures. Then a pH-neutral shampoo, the two-bucket method, and no automatic brush car washes. That’s most of it.
Our packages are rated up to 2, 5 or 7 years, depending on the coating. How the car is washed, where it is parked and how it is maintained all decide how much of that you get. Gentle, regular washing is the biggest factor.

Yes, and it's the best time to do it. New cars often arrive with swirls and contamination from transport and dealer washes, so we still decontaminate and polish before coating.
