Who we are

Gen Z Autolabs (ABN 73 681 415 029) is a mobile car care business based in Craigieburn VIC 3064. This policy explains how we handle your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you book, request a quote, order a gift voucher or send an enquiry, we collect what you give us: your name, mobile number, email, address or suburb, vehicle details, photos you upload, business details for fleet enquiries, and any notes. When you book online we also note how you heard about us (if you tell us) and which link or ad brought you to the site, so we know which marketing works.

Deposits are paid through our payment provider, Square. Your card details go straight to Square and are never stored by us.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, confirm and carry out your booking, and send quotes, vouchers and invoices.
• To contact you about your booking, for example reminders or weather changes.
• We only send marketing if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Photos

Photos you send for a quote are used to price the job. We’ll only share photos of your car, or screenshots of your messages, on our website or social media with your permission, and with names and number plates hidden.

Sharing

We don’t sell or rent your information. We only share it with services that help us run the business, such as email, booking and payment providers, and only as needed. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia.

Website analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics to see how the site is used, such as page views. These don’t use advertising cookies to track you across other sites.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and only keep it as long as we need it for business or legal purposes.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time. Contact us at genzautolabz@gmail.com or 0476 794 772. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
